Principal's Corner

My Name Is Gabriel Ortega. I am honored and proud to be the Principal of Sepulveda Middle School.

Sepulveda Middle School and Gifted Magnet maintains high expectations of our students, faculty and staff.   The “Sepulveda Way; Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful” is what we aim to instill in every Sepulveda MS Grizzlies. 

Our students will be given the opportunity to excel academically by providing a rigorous and enriched learning environment.  Here at Sepulveda Middle School, we pride ourselves on having a whole child approach.  Beyond the core academic classes, our students are enrolled in a wide variety of enriching and academic elective courses.  Robotics, Computers, Drama, Film, AVID, SAS, and our Gifted Magnet are only a few programs we offer to enrich the lives of our students.

As principal, my goals are simple; to prepare every student for the careers of the future. In order to do so, we vow to provide our students with the necessary tools to be productive, successful, and life-long learners.
